Cookies Notice
Short and honest: this website uses only essential cookies. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no profiling.
Last updated: 7 June 2026
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Cookies can be used to remember things between visits, to keep you signed in, or to measure how a site is used. UK and EU law requires us to tell you what cookies we use and to ask for consent for any that are not strictly necessary.
2. The cookies we use
We use only essential cookies, which do not require your consent.
Admin session cookie
Set only when a member of our team signs into the private admin section of the website. It contains a signed token that proves the admin is signed in. It does not contain personal data.
- Name:
pg_admin_session - Purpose: Keep the admin signed in for the duration of their session.
- Duration: Up to 7 days, then expires.
- Visible to ordinary visitors: No. This cookie is only set when an admin signs into
/admin.
Spam protection
When you submit a form, we may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check you are a real person. Where enabled, Turnstile may set short functional cookies needed to perform the check. These do not track you across other websites and are not used for advertising.
3. Cookies we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No third-party tracking pixels.
- No Google Analytics or similar profiling tools.
- No social media cookies (Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and so on).
4. Controlling cookies
You can clear, block, or accept cookies through your browser settings. Most modern browsers let you do this on a per-website basis. Blocking the admin session cookie will stop authorised staff signing into the admin area; it will not affect anything visible to the public.
5. Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not essential (for example, if we adopt privacy-friendly analytics), we will update this notice and add a clear consent banner before that cookie is set.
